3. Can we make sunglasses with your lenses?
Yes, DEFINITY^® lenses are offered in 1.50 Index Polarized in Gray and Brown. 



4. How do we order your lenses?
DEFINITY^® lenses are available through all Essilor Labs of America labs as well as approved independent labs nationwide. DEFINITY can also be ordered through Visionweb.com and Eyefinity.com. For our customer service center, please call 1-800-668-1270 Monday thru Friday between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm Central Time.



5. What materials are your lenses available in?

6. Can I specify a center thickness?
No, center thickness cannot be specified. We have a targeted thickness for minus prescriptions. 1.50 Index, 1.50 Index Xperio™ polarized and Transitions are 2.0mm, Trivex clear is 1.3mm - 1.6mm, Airwear^® is 1.3mm - 1.6mm, Airwear^® Transitions are 1.5mm - 1.8mm, Thin&Lite is 1.3mm - 1.6mm, Thin&Lite 1.67 clear and Thin&Lite 1.67 Transitions are 1.1mm - 1.3mm.



7. How quickly can I get an order?
Due to the digitally surfacing process, orders take approximately 5 to 7 business days.



8. How do we put a “rush” on a job?
We offer upgraded shipping when an order has been completed. You may request overnight return delivery for an extra charge.



9. How long is the warranty on your lenses?
Most labs offer a warranty exactly like Varilux products. Check with your local lab for warranty information.



10. What are the prices of your lenses?
Eye Care Professionals can contact their Essilor sales representatives for pricing information.



11. Can we request a base curve?
The optimum base curve is computed and used as part of our customized made-to-order manufacturing technology. We cannot offer specific base curve requests at this time.



12. Can we strip your AR coating?
Removing the coating is not recommended. If the AR coating is stripped from the lens, the product warranty is no longer valid.



13. Is prism available in Airwear^®?
Yes, prism can be prescribed for all materials, including polycarbonate. The Rx prism range for polycarbonate DEFINITY^® lenses is up to 6.00 D



14. Do you offer slab-off?
No, DEFINITY^® lenses are made to order in a process that does not use grinding.
